ARE YOU READY FOR SOME HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL?

Indiana SRN is already gearing up for an exciting high school football season by broadcasting some of the best games in the first two weeks. In week one we will bring you Brownsburg hosting Archbishop Spalding (Maryland), Lafayette Jeff at Bishop Chatard, Noblesville at Mt. Vernon, and Park Tudor at Covenant Christian. In week two, our feature game will be Cathedral at Brownsburg.

Brownsburg will have a monumental task ahead of them against Spaulding who went 12-0 last season and finished 18th in the nation according to High School Football America (https://highschoolfootballamerica.com/).

Spaulding is loaded with Florida State recruit DB Sean Johnson, and Navy OL Kyle Lucas. Jr. WR Myles McAfee has offers from big programs such as Ohio State, Penn State, Auburn, and IU. Sophomore WR Keith Miller is getting offers from Florida State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Maryland, and Syracuse.

Brownsburg will be loaded as well with Junior QB Oscar Frey, WR Branden Sharpe, WR Avin Robinson, RB Shakovon Sumpterbey, and RB Brady Lewis. Frey is getting offers from every big program in the nation after leading the Bulldogs with 2,445 yards, and 23TD’s. We believe Frey is the best QB in the state.

When the Bronchos of Lafayette Jeff visit Bishop Chatard we will see a team that can run the football. They have Marquis Adkins and Antwoine Richmond to carry the load after rushing for 809 and 699 yards respectively last season. WR OJ Williams (64 receptions, 931 yards, 16 TD) will be the main target in the passing attack.

Bishop Chatard lost a ton of talent from a team that went 9-3 last season and will count on Ball State commit OL Zion Haney to lead the way up front. Promising QB Jack Harrington also returns after completing 67% of his passes. The running attack will miss Daniel Shaw.

Week 2 will feature Cathedral at Brownsburg. The Fighting Irish open with Ben Davis in week one and will travel to Brownsburg for week 2. Cathedral is back in 5A this season and returns QB Cameron Koers and RB Xavier Dangerfield. Koers threw for 1,528 yards, and Dangerfield ran for 1,087 yards. Ball State recruit Gannon Knowles leads the Irish defense after recording 14.5 tackles for loss.

Indiana SRN is looking forward to Friday August 22. We hope you are as well.
