The 2025 HCAC season kicked off Saturday, September 5, with plenty of action across the Midwest. Let’s take a look at the results:

Alfred State 6 – Anderson 7
A defensive battle from start to finish, with Anderson edging out a one-point win to start the season.
Kenyon College 17 – Bluffton 20
Bluffton held strong in the fourth quarter, pulling out a close home win.
Ohio Northern 20 – Franklin 27
The Grizzlies started the year on a high note with a big victory over a solid OAC opponent.
Muskingum University 27 – Mount St. Joseph 33
MSJ lit up the scoreboard in a back-and-forth contest, showing off its offensive firepower.
Centre 23 – Hanover 15
Hanover couldn’t find the spark late, dropping a tough opener at home.
Westminster College 21 – Manchester 14
Manchester came up short in a competitive battle decided in the second half.
DePauw 40 – Rose-Hulman 0
The Engineers ran into a tough DePauw squad and will look to regroup quickly.
