• In what is the final home game for a memorable group of seniors, the No. 15-ranked Purdue Boilermakers host a surging Wisconsin team on Senior Day in Mackey Arena. Purdue is coming off a win at Northwestern and looks to carry some momentum into the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago next week, as well as position for NCAA Tournament seeding, against a Wisconsin team that has won five of its last seven games.

• The Boilermakers won’t officially know their Big Ten Tournament seeding until Sunday and could be anywhere from the four to seven seed.

THE SERIES

• Purdue and Wisconsin will meet for the 192nd time on Saturday afternoon with the Boilermakers owning a 115-76 series advantage.

• Wisconsin is 2-1 in its last three trips to Mackey Arena (wins in Jan. 2022, Feb. 2025).

• It marks the second meeting of the season as the squads met on Jan. 3, in Madison, an 89-73 Purdue victory.

• Since the calendar flipped to the year 2000, Purdue leads the series 23-22, while Wisconsin has outscored Purdue by a 14-point margin (2,974 to 2,958). Over the last 10 meetings, the series is tied at five.

• The 16-point win was the first game decided by more than 10 points since Jan. 24, 2020, a 70-51 Purdue victory.

• Braden Smith has had double-digit assists against Wisconsin in each of his last four games vs. the Badgers.

• Purdue bounced back from a two-game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 70-66 win over Northwestern. The win gave Purdue a school-record tying seven Big Ten road wins.

• Purdue is averaging 81.9 points per game, the second-highest total of the Matt Painter era, behind the 2023-24 team (82.3 PPG) that advanced to the National Championship game.

• The Boilermakers are also shooting 50.0 percent from the field, their highest percentage in a season since the 1989-90 season (52.2 percent).

• The Boilermakers are on pace to shatter the NCAA record for assist-to-turnover ratio in a season, posting a 2.15 ratio (current record: 2.07 by Gonzaga, 2024-25 season).
